BEING GOOD ANCESTORS •
#Run4Salmon day 2 finished out strong!

We are trying to be good ancestors and so we set off from Mt. Shasta on our way to the McCloud falls.

A group of bikers carried the prayer from the mountain to the river with a lot of effort and sacrifice. The smoke has been a new challenge for us and we know it’s caused a challenge for other life forms as well. The deer and the squirrels along with all the other animals have lost their homes and food.

When we went down to the falls we noticed that the rivers water levels are significantly lower and warmer this time of year. Although it breaks our hearts we keep going because we can’t give up now. We have to keep standing and putting down those prayers to help our salmon come home.
Every time we hear our children yell “Run4Salmon!” It gives us hope and strength and so we keep going.

We know that if we bring our salmon runs back all things will be good again. #waterislife #bringoursalmonhome #nodamraise
