Ho‘o(KUPU)

I’ve been trying to make a reel since last night celebrating this past year but Instagram keeps quitting on me when I post - so in the name of release and surrender, I share the words I wrote as time shifted and transformed into a new year.

Pa‘akai to the journey of this past year
Sacred smoke to all of lessons and the healing

Prayers of gratitude to the ancestors for ever guiding the pathways
Offerings of love and deep appreciation for all of my relations
Lighting fire to the reflections and affirmations that come with this transition

Giving thanks to love and be loved - to be here in this realm through all of the many changes and challenges, to still be singing and chanting, to still be standing for our mountains, our lands and our waterways - to still be aloha ‘āina.

I speak my affirmations to the sky and commit to honoring this life with deepening the ways I offer love and care to myself so that I can continue to learn more beautiful and grounded ways to show up for community.

Wholeness is the word.
‘Ōlena is the color.
And 4 is the number.
