👆🏾 Me, when I see the amount single family homes are going for in Hawai‘i (yah - $1,000,000).

👆🏾 Me, when I see how many local families are being outbid by rich people.

👆🏾 Me, when I see the amount of cars with out of state license plates driving on our roads.

👆🏾 Me, when I hear @govhawaii continuously gaslighting our community, placing restrictions on the locals while tourists continue to gather in large numbers across the pae‘āina, and announcing that the residents are to blame for the cause of the recent rapid spread of Covid.

👆🏾 Me, when Ige tries to back pedal and urge tourists to stop coming to Hawai’i after he let hundreds of thousands of people fly here resulting in this massive spike of Covid cases.

Over-tourism is tremendously overwhelming our resources and putting the health and safety of our communities at risk.

If you are planning on coming here right now without an invitation or even thinking about it - don’t. Period.
And literally STOP buying land and homes here if you are not from here. Ugh.
