Mauna Kea for Lā Ho’iho’i Ea

Today we continued the tradition of raising the Hawaiian Flag on the top of Mauna Kea for Lā Ho’iho’i Ea. Making the Hawaiian Flag the highest flag flying in the world from the sea floor. This tradition was started by Kū Ching & it’s an honor to be able to continue this tradition with him still leading the way.

It’s been so beautiful seeing the many ways Lā Ho’iho’i Ea is being celebrated throughout the pae ‘āina. We want to mahalo all who are apart of organizing, sharing, and participating in the celebration of our lāhui and Hawai’i Nei. ❤️
