That sits in the upland mountains
The sacred hillsides of the gray fog

Haʻalulu ka manawa huli ka honua

The heavens flash
And the consciousness of the earth reverberates
Calling for your return

Hā‘iwahine is cloaked in the misty rain
Adorned in a lei of the glittering white rainbow

May the expansive waters of Waiau continue to give life
