Mountain deep inhales
Mountain deep inhales
Slow river exhales
Calling in the feeling of seeing the sun adorned in rainbows over the pu‘u I love
And gifting myself a moment to tap into my body after an epic weekend of ceremonies
My soul feels so filled
My heart feels so strong
Embracing Kū szn with my whole chest this year from a place of power and a place of confidence
My body tho…
Whew
My kino kanaka
My right side
My Kū side
Feels exhausted
And really sore
The pain in my shoulder won’t quit
Hip, knee, and ankle are all talking
And I’m listening
They are telling me how much I must take care of this body
Like for real
Ho‘oikaika for real
‘Ai pono for real
Mālama my mental health for real
Because this body carries me so lovingly through this life
And I want to feel as strong in my body as I do in my spirit
So in this wā of action and of discipline
I whisper my commitments to my sacred places
And make a loving myself a ceremony too
