Shut Down Red Hill

Sharing important information from @oahuwaterprotectors

Jamie Williams, a resident of Red Hill Mauka Army housing, has smelled intermittent odors of fuel in her water and in the air around her home since late November 2021. On January 26th, 2022, Jamie's house was undergoing it's third residential "flush" as part of the Navy's drinking water restoration plan. Despite two prior "flushes", Williams' water still had an odor of fuel present. Army Colonel Alicia Masson, Commander, U.S. Army Environmental Command and several subject matter experts arrived at the home and observed the flush process and areas of the yard where Williams' had noted the fuel odor. Later that night, while reviewing motion alerts on her security cameras, Williams' discovered the attached footage. After listening several times, much to her horror, she knew the information needed to be made public. Families are making critical decisions about whether to stay and wait for the water to be rendered safe, or to leave the area - they should be making these decisions with all available information, even if it is unflattering for the military. The health and safety of the community should come first.

After watching this disturbing video, we are left with many questions. First among them though: what else is the US Military hiding from us?
Secondly: what’s underneath Jamie’s home that could be worse than fuel?
