On 7/19/15, I wrote a private message to Wendsler Nosie, as I watched the events and their efforts concerning their tribal ceremonial lands and Apache stronghold, Oak Flat, take place on fb.

Facebook message:

Please know we also support you and will continue to pray

A year later he and his wife arrived in Hawaiʻi and prayed with us on Mauna Kea. Since then warriors and protectors from Oak Flat have prayed, sang and danced on the mauna as well as from their homelands. Now Wendsler, his people and supporters call out to the world for help. Please pray for them, please send them Aloha and strength. Mauna Kea ʻohana, we know what this feels like across the pae ʻāina, they have stood with us, let us stand with them now.
