Entering into Lono season with my heart open and feet steady on the earth. Calling upon Lonoikamakahiki to bring peace to my memories and to guide me as I deepen my relationship to my inner and outer worlds.

This is the most I’ve chanted since we were on the ala. Every day, I feel called to greet the land with honor songs. This kind of conversation that awakens all the senses and restores hope in the heart - that is what chanting to the clouds feels like to me. That’s what acknowledging our first sight of the migratory birds feels like to me. That’s what greeting the morning light in song feels like to me.

Stepping forward into this time holding my truth close and my mana strong. Facing my lessons with openness and realness and leaning in to moving in this world with more and more love every day.
