Pali ke kua Mahina e ke alo
He lei keakea noho maila i ka mauna 💙
A lei of clouds adorned the mountain last night as the moon danced across the sky. It was so beautiful to lean all the way into the moment and feel the embrace of light and love and to be held by the micro and the macro all at once. It was so peaceful to lean all the way into the pause and gaze into ancient constellations that remind us that we come from sacred lineages that long to be remembered, that long to be called upon. It was so reaffirming to lean all the way into my own heart and sync my pulse to that of the land and breathe in gratitude for the life that I am living and for the lessons I am learning.
I quietly whispered my prayers to Hina to guide my tides and protect my spine.
Lifted the names of my beloveds to the stars and asked the kūpuna to stand at the four corners of our beings and pale these hale as we continue to navigate these times.
And so it was.
And so it is.
And so it will be.
Pali ke kua
Mahina e ke alo
