Lei ana i ka punakea kuali

My thoughts return to the mists of Pu‘uhuluhulu, to waking up to the Royal Order of Kamehameha chanting the sun up, to the arch of white rainbows over the land I love. I wrote, ‘Nopu ka Mana‘o’ to go back to these moments on the Mauna and the ala, to remember to the feeling of the pahu reverberating with my pulse, and to the strength of thousands of women standing in the presence of our sacred mountain protected by the divine feminine deities ancient as time and space.

Humbly inviting you all to share your pictures of the punakea-white rainbows from our time on the Mauna.
